Luz Indah P. Abayan (Policy Advocacy Officer) 

Indah is primarily tasked to lead CRC Asia’s advocacy work on public and private investments in children. This includes conducting research and networking in support of building region-wide constituency for the UN CRC General Comment 19: Public Budgeting for the Realization of Child Rights and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Indah served as Planning Officer for a public science high school for 5 years prior to joining CRC Asia. She also worked as advocacy and research staff in non-government organizations working on indigenous peoples’ rights and women’s rights.

Indah obtained Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences with majors in Political Science and Psychology from the University of the Philippines – Baguio. She completed her Masters degree in Public Administration major in Organizational Studies at the National College of Public Administration and Governance, University of the Philippines – Diliman.

Indah takes pride in having mixed roots from Bulacan and Leyte and is a self-taught baker.
