In response to the recent Philippine government directives to contain #COVID19, the CRC Asia Secretariat’s physical office will be closed next week, 16-20 March 2020. As work from home arrangements will still be in place, you may get in touch with us through our email or social media handles. In the following weeks, beginning 23 March 2020 until further notice, our office hours will be temporarily adjusted to 10:00 AM-4:00 PM (UTC+8), Mondays to Thursdays.
The Philippines raised the alert to Code Red Sub-Level 2 due to evidence of community transmission and increased prevalence of cases. Specific public health measures on social distancing and community quarantine in Metro Manila will be observed from 15 March to 14 April. In a recent announcement, a curfew from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM will be implemented also.
During this month-long community quarantine period, we will be implementing adaptive work conditions that allow us to perform our duties in a way that ensures the safety of our staff and of those whom we work with. We remain committed to making socially responsible approaches in addressing the COVID19 pandemic.
