Children’s Right
to a Healthy
Environment

As environmental crises increasingly threaten children’s lives,
health, and futures, we believe the right to a clean, healthy,
and sustainable environment is not just an environmental
issue; it’s a child rights issue.

CRC Asia, together with regional and global partners, advances
this through child-centered advocacy, policy work, and youth
leadership.

  • Children and youth helped shape UN General Comment No.
26 on children’s rights and the environment

  • CRC Asia contributed to ASEAN’s Principles and Policy
Guidance on Children’s Rights to a Safe, Clean, Healthy,
    and Sustainable Environment (PPG).

  • Regional webinars and dialogues strengthened solidarity
among child environmental rights defenders and advocates.

  • CRC Asia and its partners have produced numerous child-led
    and child-friendly resources.
